About Lake Neusiedl

Sailing on Lake Neusiedl (Neusiedler See) is unadulterated pleasure. The 320 square kilometre steppe lake with an average depth of just 1.5 meters appeals to sailors because of its outstanding weather. No other lake in Austria can claim such consistently good wind conditions and so many hours of sunshine. 75 km² of the lake are situated in Hungary.
